This is a fully loaded episode. This week's topics include media timeouts in D3 basketball, wooden bats in college baseball, the role of college baseball in the era of reduced minors, the decline of ESPN, the rise of sports gambling, and forcing to pick between Bull Durham and Major League.

This week, the boys are joined by their dad to take look around the newly started MLB season. They also talk a bit about the All Star Game being moved out of Atlanta and the hornet's nest that kicked over.

A hodgepodge episode here. First a shameless plug for a few projects Aaron running. Then a bit of discussion about the need for conference tournaments in college basketball, the hot mic incident in the NHL, and a bit of a walk-through Aaron's umpiring days.

Also, a bit of a pre-emptive fact check here. Aaron thought Loyola-Chicago was still in the Horizon leage in 2018 when they made their last run to the Final Four, but that is incorrect. It was their second year in the Missouri Valley Conference.

This week we look at the setup of March Madness, the VCU mess, Fury vs. Joshua, and how to consume baseball in 2021. We also take a look at when you should and should not believe what a woman tells you.

This week we look at hockey in Danville and discuss whether the market has any prayer of supporting an SPHL team, as well as what this might mean for the landscape of low-level minor league hockey as a whole.

There is some very minor language in this episode, though nothing that wouldn't be on basic cable.

This is a bit of an odd episode, as it's pretty much a regular episode with where a watch-along breaks out in the middle. This week, we talk about Mr. Kate Upton, Brent Seabrook, and goofy pitchers. As well as the previously referenced boxing.

In this episode, we take a look at Purdue basketball maturing at just the right time, the NHL's debacle at Lake Tahoe, Sidney Crosby not giving his girlfriend a ring, and Bob Netolicky.

This week we take a look at the Colts' future now that they have their QB, talk about whether Serena Williams tipped her hand, and a discussion about minor league baseball turns into a talk about the greatest dizzy bat race of all time.

This week we take a look at an incident that happened in our home town that brought into question the treatment of athletes in small towns and the role of sports in our society writ large. After that was over, we turned to something a bit more light-hearted and Drew told us about some of his experiences visiting hockey arenas across the NHL.

The plan was wait until Monday to get a good recording of our Super Bowl reaction. Then the Super Bowl wasn't really worth reacting to, so instead we spent a lot of time talking about the Pacers swoon, hockey jerseys, breaking a guy's nose, and making a half-hearted attempt to get Errol Spence Jr. to come on the show.

But, for real. If anybody can get in Spence's ear, that would be amazing.
