I hate lateness - yes, but it also doesn't mean I'm punctual all the time (although I try to be 98% of the time). However, when circumstances are beyond my control, I try to communicate. I've had enough experiences with lateness & it's consequences to know that I detest it to the core. Sucks that this happened. Sometimes, we can't control everything. Tsk.
