Wooo CHAAAAL
This was THE HARDEST THING I've ever had to do! And that is wait on the Lord in full faith.
I'm gonna make it quick for you today as this episode just BRINGS IT.
There are 2 ways we react when faced with "stillness" on our journey
1) Recede back to what we know as comfortable
2) Push forward in presumption
Along with that, there are 4 ways we are called to wait on the Lord
1) Waiting in Prayer
2) Wait with Simplicity of the Heart
3) Wait in faith
4) Wait in Quiet Patience
It is not an easy task as we are eager to go forth and know what is next, but when we insert our self-will everything becomes muddled. This is not for the faint of heart and WILL grow your relationship with the Lord, which I am so glad I decided to WAIT.
Usually I would pressed on or retreat back because it felt like I was at least doing something and quite frankly I didn't want to wait, but every single time I took either of these paths I was met with great resistance, confusion and frustration. BECAUSE i wasn't doing what I was supposed to be doing, and that was simply waiting on the Lord. I wanted this time around to be different so I knew I had to be still.
Be Still and Know that He is God.
I knew that if I really wanted this life and these changes bad enough I had to do everything different. Welcome to Part 2 of this amazing journey, this is where I learned to be patient and wait on the Lord, this was the pull back before the blessing.
