So you Brethren who are striving to walk in a manner worthy of your Savior ENJOY! 
You get it!   It IS our responsibility to CHOOSE to do those things which please the Lord... IF we want to hear, "Well Done"! in the next life.  It is is our responsibility to FIGHT and RESIST our sinful flesh!   It is our responsibility to SHOW our Savior that we REALLY love HIM by being obedient to His Words.
You know I hear all this ridiculous HOAKY-POAKY pious sounding religious gibberish (usually from those supposedly 'Spirit led" Believers) about how God's people are NOT even capable of CHOOSING to show Christ that they love Him! How dumb does that sound?    Listen to me carefully!   If my wife KNEW that I was letting someone else use their words and thoughts to write her beautiful love letters....AND THEN I SIMPLY signed my name and the words...I LOVE YOU DEAR....on the bottom of each letter.... do you really think that my wife would believe that I loved her?  I do NOT think so!!! If my wife KNEW that it was someone else who was remembering to send her flowers....and I just signed the little card attached to the flowers.....YOUR LOVING HUSBAND.....do you really think that those flowers would mean anything to her? I do NOT think so.  In fact, I believe that IF I let someone else show my wife that how much he loves her.... it will not belong before my wife falls in love with someone else!!!   Christ said, "Do not just tell me that you love ME....show Me that you love ME by doing what I say!"
