Susan is the author of the best-selling book Wheels of Injustice: Saving My Child from the Child Savers, a heart-tugging memoir about her crusade against an out-of-control child protection system that takes away her daughter and falsely accuses her husband of abuse. She has also published the first in a series of children's books Button Goes to School, with two sequels to the book already written and currently being illustrated. She and her husband now live in the country outside a small town in Texas where she is now a full-time author/poet and entrepreneur.
