There are even more people in this forest: A group of workers are rehearsing a play that they want to present at Theseus’ wedding. While they do so, they are being watched by Puck. Bored by just being an onlooker, Puck puts a spell on Bottom, the Weaver, that transforms his head into that of a donkey. Titania who has been sleeping nearby awakes and instantly falls madly in love with the transformed Bottom.
