Part I of this podcast series has covered a basic understanding of our mind, with an emphasis on life’s essential facts. We have now understood how to build self-belief, grow a healthier subconscious mind, develop the courage to face any situation and finally build solid self-confidence and self-esteem.
Part II of this podcast series uses these foundational qualities to cultivate consistent habits. These habits are not difficult to follow but it takes a decent amount of willpower, determination, interest, discipline, and sincerity to develop a new habit. But this is entirely in our control. If you want to add a good habit to your life, you must focus on doing it daily. When you practice a habit regularly, it becomes a part of your everyday routine. The key to victory is maintaining consistency.
You may be without a job, have an illness, or face a difficult situation right now. When you go through difficult times, it’s hard to see the good that exists amid your troubles. But, by being more grateful for what you do have, you can increase your happiness by 25%, according to Dr. Robert Emmons, a psychology professor at the University of California, Davis.
Develop a new perspective on life. Develop gratitude for life. Take stock of all that are you are left with. Put that to use, make it count.
· It doesn’t matter how much you have. What really matters is what you do with what you have.
· How will you ensure that you always use what you have? Count your blessings, never your troubles.
· Instead of asking “Why me God, why me God for all my troubles?” say, “Why me God, Why me God, for all my blessings!”
· A complaining mind is never peaceful. A grateful heart is always peaceful.
