Winston Churchill understood the strength and cohesion found within a society that is built upon the family structure. As humans, we develop our characters and learn our values from our families. Each person in the family has responsibilities and obligations, and only when these are fulfilled does the family keep functioning. We are also part of God’s family, and that’s really just a bigger version of our smaller earthly family units—we learn values, we build characters, and we help each other out. Today we are commencing a new series of studies that examines God’s ideal for us as members of the heavenly family.
