Patrick Coyle is a creator who started his comics career as the publisher of the online comic book website known as Komikwerks. Through Komikwerks Patrick was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of being able to aid in the creation and distribution of the work of some of the field’s moist renowned creators including the likes of Stan Lee, Tom Mandrake, and Dwayne McDuffie. Now Patrick is creating comics of his own and his most recent effort, Bixby Grant Private Eye: Fangs and Brimstone, just kicked off a Kickstarter campaign this week. Bixby Grant tells the tale of a former police officer who’s been tainted with the curse of an ancient mummy and turns to sleuthing in order to make a living. It mixes the best elements of Batman the Animated Series with Hellboy and adds a dash of Scooby-Doo to form a perfect comic book experience for the Halloween season!
