Kristian sits down with Steven to talk about a wide variety of subjects ranging from his experience with mysticism in Mexico, how negative tropes always infected Latinx superhero stories when they where younger and how he avoids them, and the state of independent publishing contracts in the comic industry today. Things get real as they take a deep dive into just how much funding a Kickstarter actually provides for a lot of indy creators, what types comics actually do well on the platform, and the risks he’s taken by sticking with one property instead of trying to develop multiple ideas through the years.
