Part-Time Rockstar Podcast

Episode 5 features Nick Thompson or @surfinonthelake as he goes by on social media. I really dig Nick's voice. He kinda reminds me of Everlast. But he certainly has his own style going on. I'd personally describe his music as laid back acoustic rock with a bit of rap mixed in. It fit's perfectly into my summer/beach playlist. You can typically find him out playing the dock bars in Annapolis and around the DMV area in general. He also does tracks for hire on a case by case basis if you need any guitar work done. His music is on Spotify and iTunes. In this episode we discuss what he's been up to and some of experiences playing around town. Hope everyone is doing alright out there under the circumstances. Walter and Damien from Taylor Polynomial stop by to talk about random stories from playing in the band as well as their jobs working at PRS guitars and Jailbreak Brewing.

In this episode my brother Dylan interviews me about my band The Hollow Truths as well as my background in music. We discuss some of the new songs and random stories about growing up.

In this episode I interview an increasingly popular friend of mine, Luke Justin Roberts, who has been bulking up his social media presence online for his solo project. Among many things, Luke is the main drummer in my band as well as the mastermind behind many music videos in the DMV area. He plans to release a solo album and start playing some shows. You can find his info on FB, YT, or insta.

Welcome to first episode of the Part-Time Rockstar Podcast. My name is Brett. This podcast explores how working musicians balance their day jobs with playing music.
