Jeremiah speaks to us of the Lord who is the true God, a great and powerful God. In contrast to the false gods of the prophet's day and ours, this is a God to be feared.

The Lord Jesus Christ has entered into His estate of exaltation which will culminate at His return at the end of the world.

The LORD called Jeremiah to be a prophet to the people of Judah and Jerusalem, but nobody was listening to the prophet's messages.
