Almost at the beginning of time God entered into a covenant of life with Adam. It was a gracious act by God and an astounding opportunity for Adam to secure the eternal well-being of the human race.

To reject the Lord Jesus Christ is to embrace a death culture; to receive Him is to obtain life.

After the global flood Noah and his descendants were given the mandate to go forth and repopulate the world. This they did with the blessing of the Lord.

Noah's drunkenness reminds the Christian of the need to constantly walk closely with the Lord God and pray to be delivered from temptation.

Christ's fourth cry from the cross reminds us that, in a very real sense, Christ was bereft of the presence of God because He bore mankind's sin.

Having created the universe, and all life, the Lord God now preserves and governs all His creatures and all their actions, as He carries out His decrees.

We see here a successful wealthy man and a struggling Christian. The Christian has a glorious end and the wealthy man has a miserable end.

Paul prays for the Ephesians that the Spirit of God would enlighten their understanding leading them into a strong hope, show them the wonderful heaven ahead and make them to experience the mighty power of God operating in their lives to their soul's salvation.
