Balaam continues to prophesy- much to the disapproval and disappointment of King Balak. The prophesies speak of the immediate and long-term blessedness of the Lord's people.

The Lord Jesus Christ healed ten lepers on His way to Jerusalem, but only one thanked him, and he was a Samaritan. The others had their bodies cleansed but the Samaritan had his body and soul cleansed.

Herod Antipas, who was a ruler of two regions in Israel during the time of Christ's life, was a wicked and godless person. Yet, he loved to hear John the Baptist preach but he derived no saving benefit from the preaching.

When life is all over and you have passed on into eternity you will find yourself in one of two places, heaven or hell. Where will you be-

The new birth is a mysterious, sovereign work of God in the soul of the sinner without which none will be saved.

This parable is about a careless waster who when he was informed that he was going to lose his job began with earnest to prepare for the future.

Pontius Pilate uttered these words concerning the Lord Jesus Christ as he brought the Saviour before the Chief priests. Little did Pilate know how true these words were.
