Many Christians prefer to surround themselves with people that always agree with them, that tell them what they want to hear and never provide truth surrounded in love.  Some theologians believe that because the apostle Paul confronted Peter that they must have been enemies.  Maybe Paul was just a really good friend that was used by the Holy Spirit to identify the unseen in Peter's life!
