The final day of equestrian sport in Chateau de Versailles took place this morning with the Individual Final taking centre stage. Ireland were represented by two athletes, Daniel Coyle and Shane Sweetman, who though didn't quite make the podium acquitted themselves well in great company.

After ten days of action and our nine athletes holding their own on the world stage there can be nothing but pride when reflecting on the Paris Olympics.

Horse Sport Ireland is the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport in Ireland and maintains The Irish Horse Register.
