- Jack: As always, it’s all the Browns’ fault. No owner wants to commit to giving Lamar a Watson style contract because they don’t want fully guaranteed money to become the norm. If someone caves and gives it to Lamar, that hurts all of the other owners across the league. The Ravens are playing the waiting game and hoping nobody caves, and once that happens Lamar will have to settle for their deal.
