PASSED BALL SHOW #91 7/30/2013 Part 2 WITH GEORGE RILEY AND STEVE SPRINGER; I open with my interview with former Cubs, Giants and Expos LHP George Riley. George talks about his experiences in MLB and how much he enjoyed the game of baseball. He also talks about the opportunity to play in the Phillies organization close to his home in Reading. He expresses a little remorse as he did not have the opportunity to pitch after the invention of the left handed specialist. I talk a little about who is to blame for the struggles of the Angels as well as why Al Oliver belongs in the Hall of Fame. I finish off with my interview with founder of Quality At Bats and former MLB infielder Steve Springer. We talk about the struggles of keeping interest in baseball as well as the launch of his new instructional video

PASSED BALL SHOW #91 7/30/2013 Part 1 WITH JACK FISHER AND DON DEMOLA; I start out by speaking with former Orioles and Mets RHP Jack Fisher. Among things we discuss are giving up the HR to Ted Williams in Williams' final AB in 1960 as well as Roger Maris' 60th HR in 1961. He also talks about a young Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman and being around before the Mets became WS Champions in 1969. I follow that up with a great interview with former Expos RHP Don Demola. Don may ruffle some feathers with some of his views about Mariano Rivera, Gene Mauch among other topios. I finish off by giving my opinion of the collusion between MLB and the Yankees to force Alex Rodriguez to forfeit the remainder of his contract

PASSED BALL SHOW #86 6/25/2013 Part 2 WITH TOMMY JOHN; Listen to my interview with longtime LHP Tommy John, who pitched for the Indians, White Sox, Dodgers, Yankees, Angels and Athletics. We talk about his interest in golf, the operation as well as pitching on the losing ends of the Dodgers/ Yankees World Series. We also talk about his Hall of Fame chances as well as the pitchers who are not in that have more wins than him. I break down all MLB managers who were traded for and state the obvious of why Cole Hamels is having a much worse season than Cliff Lee had in 2012. I talk about 1957 RHP Von McDaniel and his comparison to other pitchers who became position players and make a striking Ike Davis/ Adam Lind similarity

I bid adieu to Chicago Cubs RHP Carlos Marmol and ask help for the listeners to help me research a stat. I talk about how soon Ricky Nolasco will be traded and why Corey Hart will not be. Then, I play my interview with former Royals and Tigers RHP Rusty Meacham talking about his hosing down of the Royals fans among other things. I finish off by giving my endorsement to the great Larry Doby

PASSED BALL SHOW #85 6/18/2013 Part 2 WITH KIP GROSS AND MARLON ANDERSON; I start out by speaking with former Reds and Dodgers RHP Kip Gross about coming up with the Mets, being traded to LA with Eric Davis and his opinions about Cincinnati Reds owner Marge Schott. I then speak with former Phillies, Cardinals, Devil Rays, Mets and Dodgers infielder Marlon Anderson. We talk about his inside the park home run against Francisco Rodriguez of the Angels and hitting the 4th of the 4 consecutive 9th inning HRs for the Dodgers against the Padres. I finish up by talking some NL East with Phillies, Mets and Nationals

PASSED BALL SHOW #85 6/18/2013 Part 1 WITH BRAD KOMMINSK; I open the program by speaking with former Braves and Indians OF Brad Komminsk. Brad talks about his coaching career, coming up as a highly touted prospect with the Braves and his famous near catch after scaling the wall in Cleveland. I talk about the resurgence of the Toronto Blue Jays and the balance of the AL East. Then, I mention the anniversaries of the deaths of former Royals manager Dick Howser and longtime Braves broadcaster Ernie Johnson. I also make my case that the Diamondbacks can regret the decision to trade RHP Trevor Bauer

PASSED BALL SHOW #84 6/11/2013 Part 2 WITH ANN LIGUORI AND PETE SMITH; I start the 2nd hour with my interview with WFAN Golf and Tennis correspondent Ann Liguori. Ann hosts Sports Innerview, a television series where she has interviewed all time greats such as Stan Musial, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle and Deacon Jones. I follow that up with Pete Smith, the former Atlanta Braves RHP, who also had a role in the movie "42". Pete talks about being on the set as well as coming up as a Braves pitcher at the same time as Tom Glavine and John Smoltz. I finish up by talking about the Mariners catcher of the future, the Giants potentially adding another starting pitcher and a couple interesting points about this year's MLB player draft

PASSED BALL SHOW #84 6/11/2013 Part 1 WITH LOU COLLIER; I make my comparisons between Yasiel Puig and Mike Trout. Then I make my case why the Mets should continue to bunt runners over and play small ball. Former MLB infielder Lou Collier joins the show to talk about the RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program and his place in it as well as going from a shortstop to a utility player. Lou also played in Korea. I then talk about who the all time home run leader was before Babe Ruth and I have few problems with the so called steroids era

PASSED BALL SHOW #83 6/4/2013 Part 2 WITH BOB KLAPISCH AND CHAD ZURCHER; I speak with longtime sportswriter Bob Klapisch (sorry about the feedback during the pre-recorded interview) about writing "The Worst Team Money Can Buy", his public confrontation with Bobby Bonilla, "Champions" (a book about the 1996 Yankees as well as the great Mariano Rivera. I briefly touch on the possibility of Cliff Lee being traded and a couple surprise teams on his no trade list. I then speak with Mets minor league 2B Chad Zurcher, who currently plays for the Savannah Sand Gnats of the South Atlantic League. I close it up by talking about why the Arizona Diamondbacks will now make more noise than anticipated, the history of women playing in professional baseball as well as the anniversary of one of the weirder baseball manager meltdowns
