  • Fishing for Dreams
There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village. As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite few big fish. The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?”
The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.”
“Then why don’t you stay longer at sea and catch even more?”  The businessman was astonished.
“This is enough to feed my whole family,” the fisherman said.
The businessman then asked, “So, what do you do for the rest of the day?”
The fisherman replied, “Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink — we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night.”
The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman.
“I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches.”
The fisherman continues, “And after that?”
The businessman laughs heartily, “After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.”
The fisherman asks, “And after that?”
The businessman says, “After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!”
The fisherman was puzzled, “Isn’t that what I am doing now?”

  • Massive Action
People fail to take massive action because they lack true clarity about the goal or objective they have in mind. These people simply haven’t taken the time to get crystal clear about what it is that they want to achieve. Yes, of course, they typically do have a wishy-washy goal in mind, however, this goal isn’t concrete. And if it isn’t concrete then it’s all but a nice dream.
A dream is something that is fuzzy and unclear. As a result, it is something that seems untouchable and unattainable. It is only when we give this dream some clarity by outlining exactly what it will take to accomplish it, does this dream start to become a concrete goal that we can work toward.
Given this, your first task is to get very clear about what it is you want and what it will effectively take to achieve this goal. Ask yourself:
What is it that I want to achieve?
What steps will I need to take to bring this goal to reality?
What specifically will I need to do?
What specific actions will I need to take?
How will I take these actions? When? Where? For how long?
When do I plan to accomplish this goal? What’s my deadline?

  • Growth , Experience, Contribution
No matter what you believe about humanity’s origins, one thing is clear. We’re here to experience all the world has to offer—not objects, not money, but experiences. Money and objects only generate experiences. Experiences also give us happiness in the now, a key component of the extraordinary life. We need to feel that daily life holds wonder and excitement to sustain our happiness—which fuels our movement toward our goals.
Growth deepens our wisdom and awareness. It may be growth we choose or growth that chooses us. Growth makes life an endless journey of discovery.
It is what we give back from the wealth of our experiences and growth. What we give is the special mark we can make on the world. Giving moves us toward awakening, the highest level of happiness, by providing meaning in our lives, and it is a key component of the extraordinary life.

  • Light the fire
Many people frequently find themselves living one life, but yearning for something more. And that yearning usually doesn’t just happen once; it often happens every couple of years.
You may start feeling a stir inside that brings questions to the surface, like, “Who am I?” and “What am I here to do?”
How you answer those questions can aim your life in a new direction. The questions have the potential to guide you closer to what you truly want in the next unfolding of your life. They can also help you begin participating in the world in a new, more aligned way.
If you don’t take the time to pause and reflect, you’ll start feeling stuck, bored, blocked, out of the flow, depressed, frustrated or sad. Something inside of you is calling on you to grow, and if you suppress that inner guidance, you’ll probably suffer on some level. It seeps into your relationships, your job — everything.
During this time, you’re being asked to tap into the invisible force that naturally guides everything to its highest level of creative possibility.

  • Stop Taking it for Granted
One of the greatest forces on this planet is the power of believing in you. Your unrelenting conviction in the power within you to do everything you ever wanted, to live your best life and fulfill your heart’s desires. That belief right there can move mountains and slay dragons for you.
Listening to people and letting what they say about you become what you think of yourself and your reality is dangerous business. Sometimes, it’s the people we work with and sometimes, it’s the people that are close to us. They are all free to exercise their orifices.
Learn to tune out negativity and stick to what you know about yourself. No one can know you better than you. No one can be an expert in who you are better than you. You get to choose and write your own story.
    Go be Great
