The Passion Week of Jesus was the week that culminated in his death, burial and resurrection. Even though the crowds in Jerusalem during this week swelled to large numbers because of the Passover Feast, the Gospels record specific encounters between Jesus and individuals. Jesus met these individuals where they were and their lives were never again the same as a result. In week 2 of our Passion Week series, we look at the profound act of worship displayed by Mary as she anoints Jesus with costly oil. This is a call for us to consider our own level of devotion to Jesus and an invitation to surrender fully to Him.
