The Roman took great delight in the act of scourging, and as the bone-and metal-laced whips tore Jesus' body was ripped to shreds and His blood poured out. Jesus went through this gruesome act of torture to pay the price for our physical healing. like Isaiah wrote,"And with His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5) and here is the rest of the story
