Dr. Nizam Missaghi is an American citizen who was born in the United States but grew up in Tehran, Iran. Dr. Missaghi lived under Iran’s theocracy belonging to a faith the Islamic Republic refused to recognize, which made his future success nearly impossible in that country. Dr. Missaghi checked in with us and discussed not only his harrowing escape from Iran as a child, but he shared his insight of life in Iran, an existence that for Americans can seem unfathomable.
