What is a Hammam? A hammam or commonly known as a Turkish bath is a type of steam bath or a place of public bathing associated with the Islamic world. Now a hammam will differ from country to country but the end result is the same.
We have been to several hammams around the world and in this episode of the Passports and Coffee Podcast, we are going to share our experience with you! We have been to hammams in Turkey, Morocco and Egypt. Each hammam came with it's our unique experience. If you have been a listener of the Passports and Coffee Podcast for a while then you know our very own co-host Kayla is a Registered Nurse. For years she has wanted to partake in a medical mission and she finally had the opportunity. In January, Kayla traveled to the Philippines for a medical missions and today she is sharing her experience!
We know that not everyone who listens to the podcast is in the medical field and you may never have the opportunity to join a medical mission but our hope is to open you eyes to a very different part of the countries that we travel to. We hope that this episode will have you looking beyond the beautiful landscape and consider giving back to a lesser fortunate community that you travel to.

Egypt is one of those countries that is a dream bucket list destination for many. In fact it was a major bucket list trip for the co-hosts of the Passports and Coffee Podcast. But this past October, we were able to tick this destination off our list. We were lucky enough to host our first every group trip to Egypt. Nine of our listeners joined us for an epic bucket list trip around Egypt.
In this episode of the Passports and Coffee Podcast, we breakdown our full itinerary through Egypt, from a day at the Pyramids to a sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor to even a few days in Hurghada for a but fo relaxation.
