THE GOD FACTOR

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His [own] image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

The reason why God made you and I in His likeness and image is to depend on Him. The system He put inside you is designed to have you function the way God intended.

When you disconnect man from God, he will still function but below expectation. That is what happened Adam and Eve, when they disconnected from God, death was introduced.

Genesis 2:19-20 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought [them] to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that [was] its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field…

Before the fall, Adam was functioning at a higher level of divine intelligence; he never repeated any name and now, no other human can ever do that. Adam was so in sync with God that as he named the animals, God could not say no because his mind was one with God's mind.

Each time you see attacks in your life, know that Satan is trying to cause disharmony and take you out of sync with your source (God). You and I are like the moon; it has no light of its own but simply reflects the light of the sun. The more the moon aligns itself with the sun, the greater the light. The same applies to you and I.

Without God, you will not operate the way He wants you to. You must be in sync with Him to function optimally otherwise, you will always be an average performer. That is why the Bible says;

"You [are] gods, And all of you [are] children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes."Psalms 82:6-7

Born agains are not supposed to function like a mere men: You must mirror the life of God.

Jesus is the perfect example of how a believer should operate on this earth.

Matthew 14:23-25 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

In other words, the ordinary means of transport had left Him behind yet He needed to get to the other side. What do you do when the ordinary means fail you? You must know that you are two-sided: Ordinary but also divine.

Jesus had used the boat many times before but when His ordinary means were challenged, He discovered that He was not just a mere man but a son of God too. So, He invoked the supernatural dimension of His life and began to walk on water.

John 6:19-21...Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

When Jesus entered the boat, the journey they had taken for nine hours ended immediately. A man overtakes those who have gone ahead of him when the supernatural comes upon him.

Certain operations of our lives must reveal God but most of them reveal humanity. We are so carnal yet we need to be divine too.

Ecclesiastes 9:11(NLT) I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.

May you be at the right place, at the right time and meet the right people.

There is a dimension of you that rules and laws of this world cannot control: That is the 'God-factor' that will place you in the right place, at the right time and with the right people.

WHAT DID THESE MEN DO?

Thursday 15th June 2023

Amos 9:11 "On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old.

It was only the Tabernacle of David that had no partitioning; you could see the Ark of Covenant right from the entrance of the tent. David lived ahead of his time and walked in the days of Jesus before the physical manifestation.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

Different men enjoyed the new testament though they lived in the old testament. The experiences, encounters and revelations they had with God were ahead of their time.

Hebrews 11:9-10 Abraham was rich but he dwelt in tents looking for something more real. He was not after gold and silver but moved a hundred years looking for the Messiah.

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God until God couldn't leave him on earth and took him.

2 Kings 2:11 Men like Elijah experienced riches in God that we only read about and envy.

Exodus 34:35 What can you say of Moses? He was a man who was so absorbed in God to the point that his very skin was covered by the glory of God; that when he walked into the camp of Israel in broad daylight, they could not see him. He put on a cloth to cover the light which was glowing on him.

What did these men do right to experience these dimensions of God?

Church, we can choose to play games with the 'toys of life' (material things) and settle for what we see or we cry to the Master to deliver us from blindness and premature satisfaction.

Haggai 2:9 'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts...

I don't think we have even stepped into half of what God expects of us. There is a cry from heaven; that is why I appeal to everyone to be a part of the rising generation of men and women who will shake themselves off and go after God.

Esther 4:15-16 Then Esther told [them] to reply to Mordecai: "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which [is] against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"

I don't know how many years Esther had spent as a queen when a time came that she had to set aside her privileges, conveniences, title and lay flat on her face intervening not just for herself but for her generation.

She laid her life down for her generation. What are you willing to let go for your generation for God to intervene in their lives? Do you have a heart for your family, clan, tribe, nation, generation, etcetera or you think you arrived and all is well with you?

May God raise Esthers once again all over this prayer land; the Esthers who have their fridges full, loaded bank accounts, well off families but still take a fast for their generation.

This God hasn't changed; He is the same today, yesterday and forever. However, many of us are lost in the pursuit of earthly things yet there is more to life.

Matthew 13:44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

How many of you are willing to let go of everything you have ever worked for to find that particular treasure? There is a burden on this generation more than any other generation that has walked this Earth.

What we call treasure in the church today is not the real treasure. That is why the church is blinded by the things of the world.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of the saints once again as we run the final leg of the relay because heaven is looking down on us.

SUCH AS I HAVE

Wednesday 14th June 2023 - Midweek Service

Acts 3:1-5 [1]Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. [2]And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;...

For over forty years, this man's condition had reduced him to a beggar; He didn't ask for it but life just happened to be unkind to him.

No matter how much money he was given for a long time, he would not change himself: he remained lame.

Peter looked at that man and said to himself, "Shall we be like other people and hand over gold and silver to him or we can give him something that will cause him to stop begging for the rest of his life and put him on his feet?" Acts 3:4-5

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but SUCH AS I HAVE give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:6(KJV)

Acts 3:7-8 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. [8]So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

These men reached a place in God whereby they knew that what they had could change the lives of people, it was not guesswork or trial and error.

They didn't even ask him to have faith because they knew what they carried. You can not talk like that unless you are sure you have it.

The whole of Jerusalem came to a standstill after seeing him walking: Uganda, your family, career, etc need this dimension of manifestation Acts 3:9-10.

With what is going on around in this nation, it will only take the church of Jesus to bring solutions to our generation. We need to step it up in every area of influence: politics entertainment etc.

It is not about money but we need something that money can not buy. I pray for a deposit of that hunger for it is only God that can put it in you Isaiah 55:1-6

Matthew 21:13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’....

Matthew 12:3-4 [3]But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: [4]how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

It is in God's house where people come if things have failed everywhere; God's house (the church of Jesus Christ) must be the place of answers that they have failed to find anywhere. That is why we have to pray and fast.

Esther 4:13-14 [13]And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. [14]For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether YOU have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther got lost in her position; she was the queen and had everything.

It took Mordecai to remind her niece (Esther) that the reason why she became a queen was to save her generation.

A CALL TO A HIGHER PLACE

Tuesday 13th June 2023

Isaiah 55:1“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

There is a deep inner cry because there is more to church than we see or know today. May the Holy Spirit stir such a hunger and thirst in our hearts to go after Him more than we ever have before.

Acts 13:36 “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;

The baton has been passed on to us and the entire heaven and cloud of witnesses are looking unto this generation to reveal Jesus.

What we see today is far from what God has in mind. There has to be people who look beyond their 'hands', whose heartbeat is after the heartbeat of heaven and who have flooded their souls with the very passion of Jesus to the extent that God's will becomes theirs.

The burden is on us to make Jesus known to our generation.

Genesis 12:1 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.

God is calling us to leave the place of familiarity; it is time to get out of that environment. We thank God for where our spiritual fathers have been able to take us but the Lord is calling us to a higher and a better place. It is time to walk away. (Micah 2:10)

Exodus Chapter 1-Chapter 15

If Moses single-handedly brought a nation out of bondage and displayed the glory of God until the whole nation of Egypt was on its knees, how about us who are in Christ? Should we settle for what we see or have around us?

Something has to break loose again in this house/ church. The four lepers were determined to find a solution to their hunger, God saw their determination and heaven broke loose (2 Kings 7:3-20).

1 Samuel 14:6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the LORD will work for us. For nothing restrains the LORD from saving by many or by few."

God doesn't need a million people, all He needs is a man to show Himself mighty in that man's life, family and nation. May you be that man. (Ezekiel 22:30).

Let us not settle for less but go for everything that Jesus paid for. The value of His blood is higher than what we see in the church today.

Let's refuse the status quo and hold on to the Master's garment, the horn of the altar and tell Heaven to empty itself on us until our media reports the news where the church becomes the headline of the things God is doing. All you need is the willingness to seek Him.

PERSISTENCE

Monday 12th June 2023

Exodus 3:2-20 2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush [was] not consumed.

7-8 And the LORD said: "I have surely seen the oppression of My people who [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land...

18 Then they will heed your voice; and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt; and you shall say to him, 'The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us; and now, please, let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.'

Moses thought that as he displayed the miracles and signs that God told him, Pharaoh would let the Israelites out of Egypt instantly but his expectation wasn't met. It took longer than he had anticipated for Pharoah to let the children of Israel go.

Exodus 19-20 But I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.

Amidst the wonders of God, the devil was still stubborn but what broke His back was persistence: that grace that prevents a man from throwing in the towel.

In God's kingdom, nothing great happens overnight, so If you are the kind that is used to quick results and manifestations, you will be frustrated in this journey.

Deuteronomy 8:2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you [and] test you, to know what [was] in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

For every manifestation that you want to see whether God has spoken or given you a dream, there is a process that will cause that promise to come to pass but if you try short cuts, the results will be premature.

Unfortunately, many people throw in the towel when they are still being processed by God. If you want to win with God, stay in His hands; allow the Potter's hands to model and rework you.

A typical example of persistence or staying power is the story of Joseph; he had to go through a process before the dream of becoming a big man in Egypt would come to pass.

Psalms 105:17-19 [17]He sent a man before them— Joseph—who was sold as a slave. [18]They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons. [19]Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.

The hand of the Lord was upon Joseph but for him to get to the place God wanted him to be, he had to go through certain things.

The most important thing is not going through the process but the attitude you carry throughout the process. An entire generation perished in the wilderness because of a wrong attitude. (Numbers 32:13)

As long as you are in the hands of the Master, it is well for no man can take you out of the Father's hand (John 10:28).

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I [will be] with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

You must understand the seasons of life: seasons of passing through waters and those of fire. However, be conscious of His presence because that is what brings comfort. If God spoke, He will take you through those seasons

Read 1 Peter 5:10 and pray this scripture into your life if you are going through hard times.

AUTHORITY

Mark 2:1-12 ...[7] "Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" [8] But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, "Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?

[9] Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up your bed and walk'? [10] But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--He said to the paralytic

[11] "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." [12] Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

What God is going to do with you will not be hidden; He will do it in people's presence so that He may draw them to Himself. Your testimony will win many to Jesus.

These four men were so determined to see Jesus and nothing could stop them.

God has been speaking to us to seek Him and draw closer to Him so that He may shift our level of authority.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

A diligent seeker defies all odds to get where they have to be.

We must understand that authority is relationship based and when authority speaks, power automatically backs it up.

Luke 10:17 [17] Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

The demons were subject to them because they recognized the name of Jesus.

Remember they didn't go on their own, they had been sent by Jesus and they therefore had the authority to use His name.

Mere mentioning the name of Jesus doesn't cause demons to leave. You need to be in proper alignment to have authority in this kingdom.

Luke 10:18-19 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. [19] Behold, I GIVE you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The enemy has power but not authority. Therefore Jesus gave them authority and not power because with authority you can challenge the enemy's power and it does not hurt you.

Read Acts 19:13-16

The sons of Sceva did not have the authority to use the name of Jesus because they were not properly aligned and when they invoked the authority, they got wounded.

Mark 9:28-29 [28] And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" [29] So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but PRAYER and FASTING."

The level of authority that the disciples were walking in needed to be improved to deal with that kind.

The primary reason for prayer and fasting is to bring you into proper alignment with the Father so that you may walk in authority.

DISCIPLINING THE FLESH THROUGH PRAYER

Thursday 8th June 2023

Colossians 2:9-10 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

The Holy Spirit came and took residence in our spirits the day we received Him: that is where the fullness of His presence is.

Your spirit is referred to as the inner man, the soul - outer man and the body - the outermost man. The biggest hindrance to the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is that our spirit feels trapped by the outer man.

We cry; "Lord, take over" because we are praying that the governance of God that is resident in our spirits will eventually take over our souls. After all, without the soul coming under the dominion of the spirit, there is no way the life of God can find manifestation through our outermost man(body).

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you [is] faithful, who also will do [it.].

Sanctification is the process where the Holy Spirit or the life of God takes over our souls and bodies leading to transformation.

It is impossible for a man or woman to be an asset in God's kingdom unless their will is yielded to Him.

There are people in the house of God that are simply a disgrace to the kingdom because their souls/ lives are not under the governance of God. They are born again yet live carnally; such people are not useful in the hands of God (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).

Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

You work out your salvation when whatever has been deposited in your spirit finds an outward expression in your soul. The life within your spirit must find dominion over your feelings, emotions, mind, etcetera.

God created man as a three fold having a soul, spirit and body separately. When the spirit takes the lead, it impacts the soul, then the soul commands the body and that is God's ideal man. (Proverbs 23:7).

When man fell, his soul gradually merged with his body and therefore, man began living from outside ( flesh) to the inside and yet he was living inside out before.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

When you are born again, there is no miraculous transformation of the body but the labor of the word of God is to divide the soul from the body because God's original plan is for the spirit to rule over the body.

The Holy Spirit we have received must be able to affect your soul when you are born again but if you still run the way you used to, then the ministry of the Holy Spirit has not affected your soul yet: You have not yet yielded to the Holy Spirit thus a carnal Christian.

A spiritual christian is one whose soul is yielded to the word of God and the Holy Spirit. One of the ways to come to that place is through the platform of prayer.

Matthew 26:40-41 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak."

Prayer is beyond a religious duty; it is a means through which God brings our souls under the influence of the Holy Spirit and disciplines the bodies.

Something is put into your soul whenever you appear in the presence of God in prayer and fasting (Psalms 84:7).

Luke 9:28-29... As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe [became] white [and] glistening.

A PRAYER AND CRY OF OUR HEARTS

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

We are standing on the finished work of Jesus Christ. We are not praying for victory but to reinforce the victory that Jesus won for He said; "It is finished." We, therefore, place a demand on the victory that it may find expression in our body, mind, nation, homes, etc.

John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

You are a prayer-answering God, that's why all men come to you.

2 Samuel 7:18 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord; and he said: “Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?

We stand on the gratitude platform and celebrate what You've done for us. See how far you've brought us; so many miracles you've done for us. There is no room for us to doubt or fear because what You did before, You'll do it now for You are a God who does not change (Malachi 3:6). We therefore stand on Your solid and living Word.

Thank You in advance for the healings, breakthroughs, upliftings, restoration, salvation, etc. Stretch forth that same hand and work marvelous wonders in our midst.

Romans 4:20-21 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

We release our faith in Your faithfulness and ability just as Sarah judged God faithfully. (Hebrews 11:11) We look unto Abraham and Sarah the rock from which we were hewed. (Isaiah 51:1)

We seek You and pursue righteousness as the cross has joined us to that covenant blessing that worked in Abraham even when He took a detour; You drew him to Yourself and sustained Your word in his life until he became the father of nations and moved by Your fear, he did not withhold his son from You.

I pray that all these graces may find complete work in our lives and that there will be nothing in our lives too dear to give up.

By prayer, we transverse this vast field. We give in unto the promise of fruitfulness, multiplication, dominion, and influence upon the earth for Your eternal glory.

Exodus 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel.

Because of the covenant, the enemy couldn't stop the Israelites and they multiplied and outnumbered their host. I invoke that grace of multiplication and fruitfulness in this house, home, our spiritual lives, and every material dimension to cover, dominate, overtake, to influence for your glory, praise, and honor.

Isaiah 32:15 Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

We yield ourselves by prayer to Your Spirit that You may move in our midst, workplaces, families, and every area of our lives. These are the days and sessions for the outpour and the breaking of the deep and the fountains from heaven.

The Nations are thirsty and hungry for the authentic: now is the time and the hour. We are standing at the end of the age, raising our voices for the best as you saved the best for the last, dimensions, riches, depth, and wealth until this land is on its knees: such is the outpour we are crying and believing for
