1 Corinthians 11:31-34 tells us If we judge ourselves, we avoid God’s judgment and chastening. We honor the Lord by discerning His contribution and by recognizing we need each other. Receive an understanding of celebrating the Lord’s Supper "By Faith" as taught in 1 Corinthians 11:26-31.

There’s a battle for the mind. The fight of faith is the fight to pull down strongholds, cast down imaginations and take thoughts captive. To win, we must know God’s Word and refuse to allow thoughts that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God to influence our behavior.

In this 3rd series of Fasting and Praise receive an understanding of continually giving praise to God for the redemptive power of the Blood of Jesus. We are the redeemed, so we say "The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever!"

We can never overemphasize the importance of faith and the place it holds in the life of a believer. Without it, "it’s impossible to please God" is a truth that should make the study of faith a priority in the life of every child God. The main purpose of every created thing or being is to praise God and give Him all the glory due His name. Colossians 1:18-22 states that every created thing or being has been reconciled to God by the Blood of Jesus and Hebrews 13:15 lets us know that in response to all Jesus did to reconcile us, we are to sacrifice praise to God continually. Receive an understanding of how our motivation should be to praise God with the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His Name.

Faith means hearing what God says and doing it. Our entire Christian life is conditioned by faith or what God says. Therefore, we can never over emphasize the importance of faith. Receive an understanding of living By Faith.

We can be consumed by worry, fear and the pressures of this life, or we can learn to live a life of perpetual praise as Paul and Silas did. Our Lord is worthy of all our praise! Receive an understanding of reasons for Fasting and Praise.
