Evangelist Tom Atkins shares from Jeremiah 17 about God's blessing for those who trust Christ that aren't dependent upon outside influences. Those who trust in Christ are like a tree planted by the waters. Whether good times or hard times come, they remain secure and nourished by the Lord.

Jesus saves us for eternal life and has done so much to bless us with an abundant life. Let us be obedient and faithful to continue His mission to make disciples of Christ love God as we love our neighbors as ourselves.

You are not alone in your fear. Have faith to see God is with you. The heroes of the Bible are with you. The saints are with you. Let your faith defeat your fear so you can do the great things God has for in this life and be saved for eternal life with God forever!

For Halloween, I'm doing a series of lessons about conquering your fears. The first step to conquering your fear is understanding what it is you're really afraid of.
