What is Godly Wisdom?

Having godly wisdom means we strive to see life from God's perspective and act accordingly.

Proverbs 16:16says, “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!” The Bible urges us often to seek wisdom above all things

Proverbs 4:7). But there are different kinds of wisdom.

First Corinthians 3:19says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.” And verse 20 says, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”

There is obviously a difference between godly wisdom and worldly wisdom

(see James 3:13–17). 13 If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

John 2:15–16). We recognize we are citizens of another kingdom, and we make choices that reflect that allegiance

(Philippians 1:27; 3:20). Having godly wisdom means we strive to see life from God’s perspective and act accordingly.

IF SOMEONE TESTED YOUR SPIRITS WOULD YOU PASS?

1 John 4- Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out.

Galatians 5:22-23 says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control

DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO FOLLY?

In Proverbs 14:29, we read, “Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” For the first part of my life, I reacted swiftly with anger toward anything, or anyone, who stepped in the path I had decided upon.

Rather, folly or foolishness refers to someone who lacks the proper fear or respect for God. He or she is therefore prone to go in the wrong direction in life. Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God. '”

JAMES 1:19

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

REMEBER TO TEST THE SPIRIT.

Matthew 7:18, NLT: A good tree can't produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can't produce good fruit.

GOD TELLS US HOW SIMPLE IT IS!

“Individuals who walk humbly with God remember what Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have done for them.” “We act honorably with God by walking humbly with Him” (“Do Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with God,”

Encounter God, Feel God and Experience God.

35 One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

24 I tell you, many prophets and kings longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.”

26 Jesus replied, “What does the law of Moses say? How do you read it?”

27 The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

How the Holy Spirit will guide you!

John 16:13

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you.

John 16:7

But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don't, the Advocate won't come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.
