Do we try to have one without the other?  Is that bending scripture to our own means?  Let's see what the scriptures say about the Letter of the Law, and the Spirit of the Law.

James addresses those who profess one belief, but walk a different way. He challenges us to a a Faith with our Boots on! In this episode James regarded trials as inevitable. He said when, not if you fall into various trials. At the same time trials are occasions for joy, not discouraged submission. We can count it all joy in the midst of trials because they are used to produce patience which will Glorify Christ.
