We become like what we look at. When we focus on the Lord we become like Him.

This sermon focuses on God's mercy toward us. We want God's mercy, but also power to live a new life.

We are naturally selfish and must learn self-discipline to change the direction and focus of your life to put God and others first - above possessions, our position, our pleasures. Some think the Christian slogan is “Just Don’t Do It” but self-denial without love is legalism. Done in love for God, His spirit will give us the power to deny self.

How much did God give to make salvation available to us, and yet we turn away from Him. We have two choices - either we accept His offer of love and mercy or if we reject His invitation we will eventually experience His wrath against sin.

The Word was made Flesh and dwelt among us. The Son of God became a baby and lived among men. Why?

The One who created all things through words became human and came to Earth to live with us.
