Yuma 1st's first sermon with new pastor, Mike Wilkerson!  This weekend we celebrate Independence Day, a day when we honor the brave people who risked their lives to procure the national freedom that we are blessed with today. This freedom, which has been highly regarded by many nations throughout the world, has been tested over time and has withstood many trials. We reflect with gratitude on the opportunities afforded to us because of the sacrifices made by those who struggled to achieve and maintain that freedom.

Touch can be a powerful force for good in our lives. The woman who touched Jesus’ robe  knew that if she squeezed through the crowd and touched him, she would be blessed in a beautiful and life-changing way.  How can we best serve our Lord in the ways we honor one another's physical space and the natural human need for contact?
