Ephesians 6:10-13 (AMP) - In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].”

Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given (or gifted): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

1 JOHN‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭(AMP‬‬) - This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.”

This scripture contains a major key 🔑 to receiving answers to all of your prayers. That is, does your prayer request line up with the will of God? When you’re praying for something, that is the number one question that you should be asking yourself. The question then becomes, how do I know if my prayer request is in alignment with the will of God? You determine that through the scriptures. If God has already promised it, in His word, then your request already lines up with His will for your life. His Will and His Word are synonymous. So, the question now becomes, “Does my request line up with the Word of God”? If it does then it also lines up with His Will. Now you can pray, with confidence, believing that God has both heard and answered your prayer 🙏🏽.

Numbers 21:4-5 (AMPC) - And they journeyed from Mount Hor by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom, and the people became impatient (depressed, much discouraged), because [of the trials] of the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses, Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water, and we loathe this light (contemptible, unsubstantial) manna.”

As the Israelites were traveling from Egypt (the land of bondage) to the Promised Land, they had to go through the wilderness to get there. As they were traveling through the wilderness, the scripture says that they became "impatient (depressed, and much discouraged), because of the trials of the way". One of the greatest spirits, that you will have to fight off, as a man or woman of God, is the spirit of discouragement. As we walk this walk, their are going to be many challenges, obstacles, trials and tribulations, that you will experience. Their are also going to be some set backs and disappointments. With that, they're going to be many opportunities for you to find yourself discouraged because of them. The way is not always easy. It's a fight to the finish. And you can not let the spirit of discouragement knock you out. You must fight and make it into your Promised Land.

3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

First of all, you have to settle it in your mind and in your heart that God wants you to prosper. In fact, this scripture states that above all things, God wants you to prosper (financially) and be in health. There, however, is one part that many people miss when reading this scripture. That is the fact that, you will only be able to prosper (financially) and experience health to the level that your soul prospers. In order to clarify this scripture you must understand what the soul is.

REVELATION‬ ‭3:7-8‬ ‭(AMP‬‬) - And to the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Philadelphia write: “These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He who has the key [to the house] of David, He who opens and no one will [be able to] shut, and He who shuts and no one opens: ‘I know your deeds. See, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut, for you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not renounced or denied My name.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 - (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.....

It’s important for us to realize that it takes spiritual weapons to defeat a spiritual enemy. If our enemy were people, our fist 👊, a knife 🔪 or a gun would do the trick. But you can’t punch the devil, you can’t stab the devil and you can’t shoot the devil. The Devil has to be bound and he has to be rebuked in the name of Jesus. So, if you want to defeat the enemy, you have to have a clear understanding of your spiritual weapons. If you don’t, the devil will have you using natural weapons, trying to fight people, when your real adversary is the Devil and his demonic forces.
