Pastor Jason Anderson - Audio

"Pursued by the Savior" (Pastor Kelli Anderson) - Let's talk for a minute about the Samaritan woman in John 4. She had a questionable past and was shunned, rejected, and gossiped about for being a homewrecker--a stealer of husbands. Yet, she was a very real person, and even though she had a past and a current situation that wasn't good, all that changed with just one encounter with Jesus.

"One Encounter with Jesus Can Change Everything" (Pastor Jason Anderson) - No matter how far your life has gotten off course, no matter what the doctors have said, no matter how bad the pain, the hurt, no matter how big the mountains you face, no matter how great the giant, no matter how bad your marriage has gotten, no matter how long you've been stuck, one encounter with Jesus can change everything.

"And I will pray the father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever -- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." (John 14:16 NKJ)

These were some of the final words from Jesus to his disciples, merely hours before He went to the Cross. It was the last time He would speak to them in human form, and He knew it was essential for them to rely entirely on Holy Spirit after He left.

The still small voice of the Holy Spirit can lead you through every day right into your best life. It can route you around potholes and unnecessary frustrations or delays. It can run you into people in need, divine connections, and destiny appointments. But when we don't know that voice, or things are just too noisy, we can miss God. When you miss God, you miss out on the things of God.

"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." (John 3:8 NIV)

We face big mountains, big giants; we have big destinies. And we are not without help! There are gifts of the Spirit you haven't opened yet--gifts that will accelerate you and take you to new heights of success. The Holy Spirit is a game-changer, a God-given advantage for His children to live their best life.

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy." (Acts 2:17-18 NKJ)

The Bible is the Word of God--it is food. The Word became flesh and dwelled among us--Jesus is the bread of life. At one point, Jesus even pointed out to His disciples that if they wanted to be part of Him, they would have to eat His flesh and drink His blood. The nutrition we need for our souls, our relationships, and our mental health is Jesus--the Word of God!

"And He said to me, 'Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.' So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness. Then He said to me: 'Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.'" (Ezekial 3:3-4 NKJ)

Your best life is the one that regards what God has said. Set it in your heart as truth. The Word of God is there to help us make better choices--decisions that could mean the difference between life and death. "He who feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his livestock flee to the houses. But he who did not regard the word of the Lord left his servants and his livestock in the field." (Exodus 9:20-21 NKJ)

Satan doesn't want you to believe the Bible is reliable. He desires to make the Word of no effect to you. He started in Genesis. "Did God really say...?" But did you know that the Bible is impossibly accurate and reliable? Let's talk.

One of the secrets to getting clarity in vision is to encourage yourself by seeing God in the little things. It may be that before we can see God in big ways, we first have to see Him in small ways. The slightest movement in your favor might be a turning of tides in your life, the beginning of something big.

People often picture themselves losing, but if you see defeat, you will conceive, and possibly birth, defeat. You are looking with the wrong eyes. We need to learn to use our spiritual eyes; Paul calls them the eyes of your heart. Your imagination.
