The intimate knowledge and revelation of God to man is not the preserve of a special group of people. All men are called to know God, and to live the kind of life He has willed for us as an inheritance: Eternal Life. If only we are willing to persevere and fight in pursuit of this, we will surely lay hold of it. 

Pastor Jeffrey Walter, in this Holy Communion message, “The Pursuit of Eternal Life”,  explains what eternal life is, and describes practically what constitutes this kind of life.  He goes on to reveal what it means to know God (i.e., to have eternal life) and how a person comes to the spiritual knowledge of God. Only the Lord is actually building something of eternal value in this world.  Jesus says without Him, we can do nothing. In order to bear Godly fruit, the Son of Man must lay his head in you— this is what it means for Him to abide in us. The revelation of who God is, comes to man so that he may align himself in total submission to this one true God. Confidence in who God is and our willingness to conform to this knowledge constitutes genuine faith in God. No might of the enemy is ever too great for God's deliverance power. Indeed, the Lord stands ever ready to contend with the evils that contend with us, and to set us on a path of recovery. Such is the unrelenting heart of the Lord God our Saviour, the Redeemer and Mighty One of Jacob! 

In this message, “The Lawful Captives (Battling for the Souls of Men)”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter assures of the Lord's readiness to set the lawful captives of the enemy free. The Lord commands all believers to go into the world and preach the gospel. Thus, the ultimate call of all believers is to labour for the salvation of the souls of men. But how can the Lord’s labourers (believers) discern and know the people to whom they have been called to preach the gospel (sheep without a shepherd)? And with what posture of heart and mind must the believer labour for the souls of men? 

In this message, “Labourers In His Harvest”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter explicates the mindset, affection and foresight (hope) that the believer must have in order to be a labourer (soul winner) in the Lord’s harvest. He further explains what the Lord’s harvest entails and how the labourer can successfully reap of it. The scriptures highlight three groups of people the Lord seeks to help: the stranger, the fatherless and the widow. Who are these people, and what kind of help does the Lord desire for them? How do we cooperate with God to bring help to these, and what connection does this have with our own salvation?

In this message, “The Stranger, the Fatherless and the Widow”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter starts by defining what good is, and shows how a proper understanding of what goodness is must inspire us to seek the salvation of the souls of men.
