Just because you have the ability to do something doesn't mean you have permission to do it.

In this episode of the Pastor Jenice Podcast, we explore the difference between spiritual ability, authority, permission, timing, and maturity—especially when it comes to prophetic gifts and Kingdom ministry.

God may give you the ability to see, discern, hear, speak, teach, pray, or operate in spiritual power. But the ability itself does not determine when, where, how, or whether you should use it.

We look at Jesus, David, and biblical principles of prophetic order to understand why revelation doesn't always mean release, why an opportunity isn't necessarily an assignment, and why maturity requires knowing when to speak—and when to remain silent.

The real question isn't simply:

“Can I?”

It's:

“Am I authorized?”

And sometimes the most mature response isn't “yes” or “no.”

It's:

“Not yet.”

This episode challenges us to move beyond simply being gifted and learn how to become governed, trustworthy, and responsible with what God has placed in our hands.

Ability may put something in your hands, but only spiritual government teaches you how to carry it.
