Everyone gets weary from the journey and everyone needs refreshing. We can continue to try to find refreshment in things of this world or we can come to the well, the only true source of living water that will forever quench our thirst.
The Apostle Paul had a serious pedigree. A Hebrew among Hebrews - from the tribe of Benjamin. Yet even Paul, refused to count his pedigree as anything compared to the knowledge of knowing Christ Jesus.
Matthew 4 quotes Isaiah saying, "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light." Jesus came to give light to these people. Us! It is our job now to always be trying to reach others who are still living in their own darkness.
Psalm 105 tells us that Joseph was sent to Egypt as part of God's answer to a famine that was coming. Before any trial comes into our lives, God has already supplied the answer for His covenant people.
In order to get to the promise land, you have to cross the Jordan. We can’t just get to the edge of the Jordan and just stare at it. We have to push ahead to cross!

Jim Crabb is the founding Pastor at Imago Dei Christian Fellowship. He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is considered “a Cincinnati Kid.” Pastor Crabb was conquered by Christ in 1973 and delivered from a life of sin and rebellion against God. He learned the heart of ministry at a small Pentecostal church in Williamsburg, Ohio under a genuine “Jesus” pastor.
Pastor Crabb graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in 1980, and from the University of Louisville with a B.A. in History. He has pastored since 1981 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; Woodsfield, Ohio; and Cincinnati, Ohio. Pastor Crabb is known for his teaching on real Bible faith, sound, well-rounded doctrine, and for his capacity to find Jesus in every verse of the Bible.
He and his wife, Sara, have two daughters, Leah and Erin, and an increasing number of grandchildren.
