John was part of Jesus’ inner circle among his disciples, along with Peter and James. In the Gospel of John, he gave us the earthly life and ministry of Jesus. In his epistles, I John, II John, and III John, he continues to establish us in the love of God, faith, and sound doctrine.

Jude was an apostle and, along with James, a half brother of Jesus. In his letter, he urges us to contend for the faith, resist scoffers, and separate from the ungodly.
