By far one of the most challenging and important messages I have ever shared. The communion service had me in tears trying to share the impact of what Jesus did. Try to listen to the whole message without tearing up!

This is from the story in John 8 about the woman caught in adultery. I have never heard it like this anywhere.

We have first impressions and quick decisions, and we think we are correct in what we believe. However, the research shows that we have a personal bias in most every area of our life. This affects relationships, our understanding of the world, and our understanding of ourselves. If we could change that, our lives and world would be better places and safer for others to interact with us. 

This message talks about bias in people at the time of Jesus, how it relates to you, and four practical steps to make a change... if you’re ready and willing.

This is a celebration to end all celebrations. It is one of the most celebrated times of the year and it has implications for you and me. It is not something that may be familiar to you, but has wonderful intonations for your life.  What is it? It is the Feast of Tabernacles. Jesus attended it in the gospel of John in chapters 7 and 8. In this message, we see how we can start a party in our lives and in our hearts, which celebrates the joy of redemption and freedom from bondage.

This is the last challenge and response by Jesus in John chapter 7. We use this text as a introduction to communion unlike any other communion offered by me or anyone I’ve ever experienced it from. This also has the element of a challenge to us, to you especially, if you claim relationship with Jesus or you do not. This message speaks to both people who believe in Jesus and people who do not.

As we consider what Jesus said to those who are confronting him, these same conceptions they had are yours today as well. It is very uncomfortable to hear Jesus respond to them the way he would respond to you. But, this message helps you to heal and restore those proper relationships that you have let go astray. 

If you are brave and daring, let Jesus’ challenge apply to you today. This message will leave you uncomfortable and make you squirm. Even the one who spoke it said that it was difficult for him to hear and deliver this message.
