Pastor Mark Stroud

Jesus is the Miracle Man! His mighty works of healing and deliverance blessed the lives of all who came in contact with Him. The impossible was made possible. Hope was restored to the hopeless. Faith was rekindled in the doubt-filled through the anointing of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Son of God. In this series we will walk through the miracles of Christ using the Book of John as our guide. It is our goal to uncover hidden truths and discover that healing still belongs to us today. This is part 2 of the series, The Miracle Man. It is subtitled, "The Circuit of Praise".

What is our role in manifesting the Lord's glory? Remember Mary's words to the servants in the account of the wedding at Cana, "Whatever He says to you, do it." Even if it does not make sense to you - do it. If it takes a long time do not grow weary. Remember God is using the process to build the character in you that will be needed to sustain you on the next level.

Church should be more than a weekly pep talk. It should instigate and inspire change in your life. The early church operated under the influence of the Holy Spirit. There was word and power. The presence of both helps people to believe. What has happened? Where is the power? Where is the glory? We need congregations willing to intercede and cry out for the power and glory of God. Restore the Glory!

One of greatest miracles of Christ was His healing of the deaf and mute. This is a prophetic view because many in today’s church are deaf and have an impediment in speech. We have loss our ability to hear the voice of God and speak His word plainly. Well Jesus is about to fix all that and ignite a fresh fire in the hearts of His people. Get ready! It's time to be opened.

Planting the seed of the word of God is leaving a legacy. It is a gift to the world. We don't know who we will reach and what that seed will grow into. Living the word of God also produces a legacy. When we praise and worship God amidst our difficulties, deliverance comes to us and to those around us.

In these last days we are called to be Christ's representatives in the earth. We should reflect the character and nature of our King in all that we do. The world has seen enough fakes to last a life time. Now they must witness the true church of Christ standing up in boldness. In order for this to be accomplished, we must give in to the Spirit of God. Only He can bring forth Christ in us.

Jesus came to break you free from the things that are holding you and preventing you from becoming all that He created you to become. Don't get stuck looking at what He did in the past and miss what He is doing right now. Don't focus on His hand so much that you stop searching for His heart. God can and will do something better for you! This message is part 11 of the series "Breaking Free".

Do you possess your possessions or do they possess you? As followers of Christ, our security and identity should come from God alone and not our things. When we pursue things we end up in bondage to those things. When we pursue God we receive things with purpose and are set free. Let's choose life and live.
