🎙️ RDTW EPISODE: IMPORTUNITY

There are moments in life when silence is not an option and delay is not permission. This episode of RDTW (Revealing the Word) dives deep into the power of importunity—persistent, bold, faith-driven pursuit in prayer and in the spirit.

Jesus paints a picture of a man who refuses to stop knocking at midnight. Not because he is rude, but because he is convinced that there is something on the other side worth waking up for. Heaven responds to those who refuse to quit halfway.

Many believers stop knocking too early. We interpret delay as denial, silence as rejection, and waiting as “no.” But often, what looks like delay is not God’s absence—it is the testing of spiritual endurance.

You are not being ignored. You are being formed.

Importunity is not repetition without faith—it is persistence anchored in confidence.

Keep praying even when nothing changes.

Because in the spirit, persistence is not pressure—it is proof of belief.

“I will not faint. I will not quit.

Delay is not denial—it is the classroom of persistence. And those who refuse to stop knocking will eventually find that heaven never locked the door.

Have you ever prayed for God to remove something from your life… and He didn’t?

Why would a loving God allow Paul—one of the greatest apostles—to live with a “thorn in the flesh”?

Was it sickness? Persecution? Temptation? Or something much deeper?

In this thought-provoking episode of The Activate Radio Show, Pastor Obi examines one of the most misunderstood passages in Scripture and uncovers the powerful truth behind Paul’s Thorn.

You’ll discover that sometimes God doesn’t immediately remove the pressure because He wants to reveal a greater power through it. Your greatest weakness can become the platform for God’s greatest strength.

As we continue in our Year of Fruitfulness, this message will encourage you to stop seeing every struggle as a setback and begin seeing it as an opportunity for God’s grace to produce maturity, endurance, and lasting fruit.

We all have “thorns”—those ongoing challenges, disappointments, unanswered prayers, or difficult seasons that make us ask, “God, why?”

But what if your thorn isn’t proof that God has abandoned you?

What if it’s evidence that His grace is carrying you?

Many believers spend their lives praying only for escape, while God is working to develop endurance, humility, dependence, and spiritual maturity.

Your thorn may not be your enemy.

It may be the very thing keeping you close to God’s heart.

In this episode, you’ll learn how to:

✨ Understand the true meaning of Paul’s thorn in the flesh.

God’s grace is sufficient for me.

🔥 THE 3 HEBREW CHILDREN | Faith That Stands When Fire Falls | The Activate Radio Show with Pastor Obi

What do you do when standing for God puts you in the fire?

In this inspiring episode of The Activate Radio Show, Pastor Obi unpacks the timeless account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and reveals why true faith is not measured by the absence of fire, but by the presence of God in the midst of it.

This isn’t just a story about surviving a furnace—it’s about developing unshakable faith, experiencing God’s divine presence, and discovering that your greatest trials can become your greatest testimonies.

As we continue in our Year of Fruitfulness, you’ll learn that the fires of life are not designed to consume you—they are opportunities for God to reveal His power, refine your character, and produce lasting fruit.

Everyone faces fiery moments—pressure at work, challenges in relationships, financial uncertainty, health battles, or seasons where obeying God seems costly. The question isn’t whether you’ll face the fire. The question is: Who will you trust when the fire comes?

Many people compromise because they fear the furnace more than they trust God. But compromise may remove the heat while also causing us to miss God’s miraculous presence and promotion.

Discover how to:

I choose faith over fear.

What if the primary purpose of words is not communication… but creation?

The ancient phrase often associated with “Abracadabra” is believed by some scholars to mean, “I create as I speak.” While the world looks to magic, superstition, and positive thinking, the believer stands on something infinitely more powerful:

“IT IS WRITTEN.”

In this life-transforming message, Pastor Obi reveals the biblical mystery of words, faith, prophecy, and the Sword of the Spirit. Discover how God created the universe through speech, why Jesus continually declared His future before He lived it, and how your words are shaping the reality you will eventually inhabit.

✅ Why words are creative forces and not merely communication tools

📖 Genesis 1:3

Many people spend their lives describing their problems.

God calls His children to speak His promises.

The question is not simply, “What are you seeing?”

The greater question is:

“What have you been saying?”

Negative words produce negative expectations.

Worry-filled thoughts become worry-filled speech.

And worry-filled speech eventually becomes a worry-filled reality.

You cannot consistently speak defeat and expect to experience victory.

Begin speaking God’s Word over your life daily.

Stop rehearsing the problem and start declaring the promise.

Take the Sword of the Spirit and use it.

Speak life.

I declare that my words align with heaven.

I speak life and not death.

I speak faith and not fear.

I speak fruitfulness over every area of my life.

I wield the Sword of the Spirit boldly.

Every promise of God concerning me shall come to pass.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
