We all know what it is like to be completely committed to something. We know what it is like to be all in. But what about our faith? Jesus call us to sold out for the Kingdom of Heaven but are we? Listen to this message about Matthew 13:44-46.

It's time we talk. I get it, nobody wants to talk about this, but we have to. We need to get over ourselves and our uncomfortable feelings and deal with this. There is too much at stake. The digital age is shaping our children and grandchildren in ways we might not even fully understand but what we do know is stakes are very high and the consequences are very great. Mom's and dads your primary job is not to be your child's friend. Your job is to be their parent. The fact is if we value our children's friendship more than we value their obedience we will fail them as parents. If we are going to save this next generation then we need to begin at home teaching and training our children to willfully and joyfully obey.

One of the way we protect our children is we limit their choices. The reason is there are some choices they are not equipped to make. 5 Year olds are not equipped to make decisions about what their diets consist of. Preteens are not equipped to decide for themselves what the appropriate boundaries are for their affections toward their crush. We as parents make a lot of decisions for our children because we want to keep them safe. But there is one decision that we allow our children, of every age to make, that can have the most sever and lasting consequences. Listen to Part 4 to find out more.

If there is a word in all of Christianity that will cause people to recoil in fear and loathing it is the word submission. We are culturally programmed by our culture to reject the very thought. But in the Bible we find beauty and joy when we understand what real love centered submission truly is. Listen to Part 3

It has been said that Christianity is "one generation from extinction". But is this true or this just an emotionally charged statement? The truth is the world has changed dramatically in the last 20 years and the data is in. And there is a growing darkness on the horizon. But what can we do? Listen to Part 1

Jesus tells a young man to sell all he has and give it to the poor and then follow him. That way he could have eternal life. But the young man went away sorrowful because he has great wealth. The problem was't that this young man was rich. The problem was he loved his wealth more than God. Anything we love, any thing we value more than God is not only a huge distraction in our walk with God, it also becomes an idol in our life. Jesus must always be our greatest love above all things. When Peter rebukes Jesus for talking about his death, the problems is not that Peter didn't know who Jesus was. The problem is Jesus words did not agree with Peter's preconceived ideas. How many of us are putting more faith in our own thoughts and feeling instead of the Word of God?
