Family is the gymnasium that God gave Love to work out in.

If you think about what I just said, you can admit that you are in an inescapable situation of love in your family, of which there will be times when you feel like running.

There are occasions that the situation gets very difficult, strenuous, and will many times be extremely difficult.

A workout is supposed to be TOUGH! A gym is designed to challenge your body. With this in mind you plan what to wear, you have your pre-workout shake, you have your gym towel, the right shoes, extra clothes for after your workout.

Ahora, bajo el liderazgo de Nehemias, los judíos trataron de reconstruir los muros pero LOS VECINOS PROTESTARON.

Su protesta no fue de imediato decir que pararan, mas bien se burlaron y criticaron el intento de los judios... ridiculizando su plan de reconstruccion.

La mejor forma de oponer algo “QUE A TI NO TE GUSTA”, es de ridiculizarlo. Y eso es exactamente lo que Sanbalat y Tobías hicieron. El ridículo puede herir profundamente, CAUSANDO DESALIENTO Y DESÁNIMO.

Sambalat y Tobías usaron LA RIDICULIZACIÓN para tratar de desanimar a los judíos de reconstruir el muro.

La razón que la gente ridiculiza a aquellos contra los cuales se opone, FUERA DE QUE ES MUY FÁCIL HACERLO,

¡ES DESMORALIZANTE!

Y lo mas triste es que esta tactica ¡MUCHAS VECES FUNCIONA!

Funciona porque la ridiculizacion y critica golpea nuestras inseguridades o debilidades, que casi todo el mundo tiene.

Me pregunto... ¿Por qué se opone la gente al éxito de otros?

¿Por qué no nos sentimos contentos cuando otra persona está teniendo éxito?

¿Porque sentimos que tenemos el derecho de siempre opinar en lo que otros estan intentando reconstruir?

Noten que Nehemías no alentó a la gente A QUE CONFIARA EN SÍ MISMA para hacer este trabajo.

¡NO!

Más bien, Nehemías les dijo ¡QUE DIOS YA HABÍA ACTUADO A SU FAVOR!

How can I regain my partner's confidence? Their trust?

And the answer is not as simple as we would like, but the good news is that it is possible. Yes, once trust is gone it will take time, effort and a lot of work, intentionally and consistency, but in God it is possible to regain your partner’s trust.

Trust requires consistency.

Day in and day out. When we are in love and out of love. Happy or angry. When we are feeling butterflies or feeling flies... we are there. We are present. Not just in body but in heart and mind.

You don't need a model or guide to know how to behave when all is well in marriage, You need a model or guide to help you by showing how you should behave, what to do and what to say or not to say, when you are going through a season of problems in marriage.

Typically, not always but typically women use more words than men in their conversations or discussions.

Women can I give you some advice?

Not because you win the discussion with all your words you should think that you have actually won the fight.

Women respond with words, men respond with decisions.

That is, maybe you think you put him in his place! I told him! I got him to do everything I wanted... apparently! But his heart is no longer there.

Men, do not overpower your wife suffocating her with ack of the oxygen she needs. That is your time and attention. You make her beg for everything... pray for everything... she has to see if you are willing to ask for time off from your job to take her to the marriage retreat and then get mad when you have to pay!!!

One day she will run towards someone that she doesn’t have to beg to LOVE her. Someone who is willing to be crucified for her.

Ladies and gentlemen, stop receiving or seeking advice and opinions on how you should handle your marriage from single or divorced people who obviously do not have the experience of being able to give adequate advise, unless that person is a Christian and are humble enough to admit what they did wrong so they can tell you what NOT to do.

In the same way as one should never ask someone who lives in an apartment for advice on how to buy a home. Most people that have tons of time giving you advise and opinions is because they are not living out their own life.

When we talk about relationships, specifically about marriage, it is clearly evident that today’s society is so extremely confused.

For example, social networks have given a totally unrealistic perspective of what it is to have an actual real intimate relationship, friendship, or what it is takes to actually know a person. Social media has redefined this by calling people that see your posts “friends and followers”.

It is so easy now to follow someone, unfollow someone, like or dislike, or ignore...

if we do not agree with them or what they are posting you unfollow or if you don’t want them to know you don’t want to see what they are posting- put them on mute, and if you really don’t like them and don’t like what they say you can now erase their response and block them so they have no further access to you.

The problem is that these are “STAGED” lives. Edited, filtered and photo shopped.

The problem with this behavior is that I can’t block you in the house. I can’t delete your opinion or put you on mute.

But how many know that this is not possible and does not work in real life?

Now if we look for God’s will and guidance in His word, we can find the principles and values with which God created our lives in order to develop our relationships in the right way, GOD'S WAY, starting with Our House.

Let’s stop delaying.

It’s time to make a change by allowing Jesus to change us, our minds, and our lives.

Through Matthew 4:17 where Jesus preached “REPENT, for the KINGDOM of heaven has come near”, we learn that we all need to:

1. change our mind (His WORD not my opinion)

2.get a new King (in other words surrender all to HIS CONTROL)

3. and understand that God is already near

In Luke 9:57-62, two people say they’re ready to follow Jesus but then make excuses for delaying the journey.
