Bibliomania Day! What does that even mean? A couple pastors knew exactly what today was all about because they have a love for books and reading, but that's called Bibliophilia. Bibliomania is the compulsive disorder of hoarding books. What's wrong with that? :) Nothing really, but any kind of addiction and/or disorder can be unhealthy. National Forgive Your Mom and Dad Day! :) There are some people who really need to act on this, but for the most part the pastors aren't quite sure how to proceed. They recognize that we as parents make mistakes, but also that our own parents made mistakes too. For the most part, parents did the best they knew how. There are extreme cases of abuse, neglect, and abandonment, which the pastors recognize as being extremely difficult and challenging. It's a Monday though, and the pastors need more coffee to prepare for Spring-Eve!

National Pi Day, and the pastors are celebrating! They talk about their favorite kind of pie, but more importantly they discuss why the U.S. doesn't uses the metric system. In fact, the U.S. is one of three countries who still use the imperial system. There has been lots of discussion over the years to do away with the imperial system, as well as doing away with Daylight Savings, but that's not important for this show! :) Pi Day falls on 03-14. Episode 984??? How is this even possible? Pastor Dave talks about people who come up to him and mention something that was said on an episode of Pastors Live, and that they listen almost every day. To Dave this is shocking, and really to the other pastors as well, because they had no idea the podcast would be as successful as it is. The only thing they can do is give God glory because there are stories from listeners whose lives have been positively affected by Pastors Live. Thank you, God, for allowing us to continue to record this podcast. Sometimes it's just plain silly, but as long as we continue to talk about the Bible we're good to go! There's Moses, Aaron, and Pharo. The pastors talk about their favorite part of the narrative and interaction between these three. There's a lot going on in Exodus and it usually takes some time to understand what's happening, especially between Moses, Aaron, and Pharo. Pastor Ty's favorite narrative is between Moses and God because there's so many excuses by Moses not to do what God has directed him to do. We're also told that Moses was the most humble man on earth, but that's beside the point in this context because we learn so much about the narrative.

On this date in 2020 is when the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. What a chaotic and stressful time it was for millions. Lots of lives lost and lives changed through government shutdowns. Pastors Live was born out of the start of the pandemic with the idea of generating laughter and a way to smile amidst the stress and anxiety.
