Stu takes it upon himself to rain on Jeffy's parade and help his mathematically-challenged colleague understand just how much a jackpot winner gets hosed by taxes and stipulations.

Christopher Columbus, the first European explorer to document the Americas, has seen his name tarnished in recent decades as some historians have labeled him as a brute responsible for the genocide of Native Americans.  These claims are mostly unfounded, but that didn't stop an angry mob in Baltimore from desecrating a statue of the explorer.

President Trump ushered in a new era of American involvement in Afghanistan with his speech before military personnel on Monday.  To Pat and Stu, he sounded competent in his statements, but the path to victory in the region still appears elusive.  How can the United States achieve its goals militarily in this new age of warfare?  And is calling this conflict "America's Longest War" doing a disservice to those who fought and died throughout the twentieth century?

We know how various groups reacted to President Trump's response to the violence in Charlottesville, but what can new poll data tell us about what individual Americans think of the President's comments?  Was it really the wrong time to hold the Alt-Right and Antifa to the same standards?  Is it wrong at all to do so?

Few journalists these days are praised for their impartiality, but one man is getting the praise he deserves for asking the tough questions of those on both sides of the aisle.  Jake Tapper was the only mainstream media journalist to consistently ask hardball questions of President Obama, and now he's doing the same with President Trump.
