Pathlight's HOME Team Podcast - Where Football meets Housing Solutions with Carl Falconer and Danny Arroyo

Welcome to the Inaugural Episode. This week, Carl and Danny weigh-in on the upcoming football season and examine New York City's Right to Shelter Law, which guarantees shelter to homeless individuals but faces criticisms over financial burdens and inefficiencies. They highlight positive initiatives like the 407 Connect bus, which provides overnight shelter and connects individuals to permanent housing. They also discuss the eviction of 60 families from a Howard Johnson hotel due to non-payment and a malfunctioning fire alarm system.
