Friends have the power to influence our lives in a positive or a negative way. The focus for this episode is the power of friendship. Friends can either pull us away from God or draw us closer to Him. We have to ask ourselves, who do we surround ourselves with? Are these people going to help me get closer to God and my purpose or are they going to distract me from my purpose and take me further from what God wants for my life?

In fact, Christmas is not just a story of hope, it IS hope because the birth of Christ is the start of God’s plan to redeem and restore us to Himself. Christmas is part of a bigger story of God’s love for us and His desire to have relationship with us and help us to find our purpose again. When we celebrate Christmas, we are celebrating the arrival of hope who is Jesus Christ.

For most people, every day, week, month, or year spent waiting can feel like a waste of time. But for God, our waiting period represents the time He is actively working in our lives to transform us to be who He wants us to be. In this episode, we discuss the purpose behind God’s delayed answers, including how to learn to value the waiting period. By looking at the stories of Abraham and the raising of Lazarus, we examine how God often comes through for us at the time when all hope is lost and there is absolutely nothing that can be been done to reverse our circumstances. The time we spend waiting for breakthroughs and answered prayers, God is teaching us to trust Him, depend on Him, and believe in His promises. First God changes who are, then He changes our circumstances.
