We celebrated Christmas Eve as two local churches together as one. We had our brothers and sisters and Christ from Sublime Gracia join us. So this podcast is in English with a Spanish translation. We finished the prophecy from Isaiah 9 by talking about the Messiah being our Prince of Peace.

This week we look at the everlasting nature of Jesus. His work as our Messiah did not begin at the manger. He has been working on behalf of His people since creation. How is Jesus at work in your life today?

We return to Isaiah 9:6 where we unpack the second title given to the coming Messiah, Mighty God. We talk about what it means that Mighty God was born in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago.

Leading up to Christmas we are going to be in Isaiah 9. We will be looking each week at a different name given to Jesus that tells us about His character. This week it was Jesus as our Wonderful Counselor.

This week we finish our series on rejoicing with Psalm 118. Our focus was on what it looks like to rejoice because we have the Lord on our side.

In this weeks episode we spend our time in Psalm 115. The writer of the Psalm is calling the people to give praise to God. We examine the fact that praise does not belong to us or is to be given to idols. We want to place our praise where it is worthy, and God is the only worthy One.

This week we continued our series on Psalms of thanksgiving. By spending time in Psalm 100 we were able to see, how we praise God, and why we praise God. He is God, the only God, and He deserves our praise.

We are starting a new series in Psalms for the month of November. We will mostly be focusing on Psalms of praise, but for this week we decided to start our study with a Psalm of Lament. We wanted to better understand the practice of lament and how we can lament in worship of the Lord.

This week, we close out our series in John. For our last week we put ourselves in the shoes of the disciples as Jesus is about to ascend back into heaven. Jesus spends His final days with Peter and the disciples trying to prepare them for what to do after He is gone. What He teaches them, can now teach us.

This week Nathaniel steps in to remind us about the brevity of Life. This is an important reminder for us as Christians, because if we want our lives to count for God, we need to be aware of how short they are.
