This week we're stopping at another unique destination, where the choices abound. Having options in life, is not a bad thing. But sometimes, there are so many options available, if you're not careful you may end up picking the wrong one.
It’s amazing the stuff that stands the test of time. This week along Route 66, we visit an iconic yet quirky destination that asks a very poignant question, "How will you be remembered?"
It appears in the midst of the desert like a great blue gem. Now it’s a destination meeting site for everyone from brides to office staffs. A place that draws everyone from hours around, truly an oasis in a dry place.
We need to remember the sacrifices many have made for the freedoms we enjoy. We are their witnesses. We can’t let the sacrifices they have made disappear, go unnoticed because we simply take them for granted.
We live in a culture without honor. We devalue people by being dishonoring them. Our culture is louder than ever before and as a result, standards are changing, and we've become desensitized. Could it be that we have become calloused to things that we once stood against? This week we continue this discussion on Honor, as we show our support to those keeping our communities safe.
This world tries to honor, but it only seems to honor those who are great, those who gave to a great cause, or have done some great feat, but what about the rest?
Being a Mom in today's world isn't easy! There are so many things pulling you in different directions, as well as attempting to tear us down. This week we're looking at a passage of scripture that has easily been considered the "standard" for Christian women. Today, some might even argue it is controversial, but the Bible tells us what really matters above all else, strength & dignity.
There are many misconceptions about love but there are two things we must do to keep love alive.
The problem with life, is the problems. You can’t get around them, eliminate them, or wash them away. They are looming large everywhere we turn. What is it that can make me a consistently joyful person?
"Live Laugh Love", this saying is everywhere right now, we have it in our homes, on t-shirts and lots of other strange places. Our obsession with "Live Laugh Love" is evidence that we are all just searching for a glimmer of hope amid the desolate wasteland of modern life, modern politics and the aching chasm of human waste that is social media.
