We all want answers to our questions. But we don't really want just any answer, we want the RIGHT answer! One of my favorite tv shows is Family Feud. It's fun to watch people when they are put on the spot to come up with a "good answer". This week we look at the book of Habakkuk, as He was seeking an answer from God.

Complicated living is killing us. It’s keeping us from experiencing life the way our Creator meant for us to enjoy it. Too much of the time we’re anxious and worried. We’re exhausted and stressed out. We don’t know which way to turn so we don’t do anything. We become apathetic and depressed when we have so much that ought to make us enthusiastic and happy!

In 79 A.D. the ancient city of Pompeii was transformed instantly into a graveyard of ashes when Mount Vesuvius erupted, raining fire and brimstone on to the unexpected inhabitants. One of the more chilling archaeological findings of the 18th century was uncovering these ruins, revealing thousands of people frozen in time. Do you feel chained to the past? If so, you do have a choice. You need not remain frozen in a moment or season during which you were hurt, disillusioned, offended or shattered. You can move on!

A momentary glance at the past can be motivating, but a constant gaze could be paralyzing. If you don’t remember where you have been, you wont remember where you need to go.

Let's take a week to break our routine, to stop and celebrate the greatness of God.

Everything we do at Pathways Church is built on the fact that this is the very Word of God. If a church does not believe that the Bible is the word of God, then it has become nothing more than a social club…dedicated to the betterment of the community, always trying to make the world a better place to go to hell from!

People always have battled against insignificance. We have tried to live our whole life based on others approval or standard. We have tired to live up to expectations, desires of others, and not wanting to disappoint. What it ultimately leads to is depression, anxiety, and a lack of understanding that God has a plan and purpose for my life.

We all know how to ask for things, but how do we respond when the answer to our prayer, isn't the one that we wanted and are there really things we shouldn't pray for?

Have you ever wondered what Heaven will be like? Perhaps fat little baby angels with wings, floating on clouds and playing harps? Maybe we will all have choir robes and hymn books? That sounds a little boring to me...

You have heard - There are only two things certain in life, death and taxes. But in reality this is a falsehood... One out of one people die. We find that death is also without prejudice; it comes to each and every individual on its own terms.
