This week our area faced a horrible firestorm that destroyed homes, business & claimed lives. Nothing is more humbling than when you are reminded you are not in control.

Good News! The election is over! Today there are many opinions post election and lots of heated debate. The question is, should there be? It seems that we could all benefit from the lessons of Ancient Israel.

The problem was that they had put their faith in an earthly politician…and they had taken their eyes off of God. They mistakenly believed that the “candidate” they had chosen would supply for them. Supplying something they felt God would not: safety, power, and financial security.
