Bruce Scofield is the author of the book, The Nature of Astrology: History, Philosophy and the Science of Self-Organized Systems. Bruce is also the author of What Astrology Is…and How to Use It. He holds a doctorate in geosciences from the University of Massachusetts, a master’s degree in social sciences from Montclair University, and a degree in history from Rutgers University. Currently an instructor for Kepler College, he is a member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research and is currently president of the Professional Astrologers Alliance, an astrology certification board. His first astrology book, The Timing Of Events: Electional Astrology, was written in 1980. In total, he is the author of 14 books on several subjects and now resides in Amherst, Massachusetts.
